Outstanding Performance Award
This trophy, originally donated by the Winten family is awarded to an athlete selected by members of the committee for an outstanding performance in any event during the Little Athletics season. Selection criteria:
• Athlete displays outstanding performance above that considered to be the norm in their events contested during the season.
• The athlete’s performance need not necessarily be for a first place or setting a record if but rather represents an outstanding personal best achievement or performance particularly difficult situation.
• The outstanding achievement is judged against the athlete’s own performance levels during the season.
• The performance may be judged at Centre, Regional or State level.
The performance must be at an individual event rather than a relay.
